Our carpets are designed by skilled craftsmen working in our very own workshops out in Turkey. These rugs are handcrafted using techniques that have been passed down and refined over hundreds of generations. Persian rugs, made from local natural materials available, have been recognised at great works of art for over two thousand years, and because our craftsmen work in our very own specialist workshops we can be involved along every step of the way of creating more beautiful art. 

From the shearing of the sheep through to the final hand-knotting of the rugs every step of the carpet design is carefully controlled and done with painstaking precision. At Persian Rug Village we have an intimate relationship with our craftsmen. We do not use a middle man to import all our goods but rather make sure we have a good relationship with those making our rugs - and this yields excellent quality results.
